All Franklin Park Residents & Businesses with Flood Damage
If you experienced any damages from the recent flooding of July 23rd and 24th, please take the time to complete one of the Data Collection Questionnaires available at Village Hall, all Fire Stations, the Franklin Park Library and the Franklin Park Community Center. For your convenience, you may also call Village Hall at (847) 671-4800 and complete a questionnaire over the phone, or download the questionnaire here: VoFP Data Collection Questionnaire (requires Adobe Reader)
This information will be submitted to the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA), so they may assess the total damages in the affected areas of the Village.
These forms need to be turned in at Village Hall no later than August 12, 2010. You can mail the form, drop it off at Village Hall, or drop it in our water bill drop box after hours (located just outside Village Hall).
Completing the questionnaire does not automatically entitle you to reimbursement or compensation, but can act as additional documentation for any insurance claims. Please save all of your receipts for future claims, and if you already taken pictures please keep pictures of flood damages and flooding conditions you experienced.
Please be aware of individuals posing as representatives of County, State and Federal Agencies. At this time, there are no representatives from any of these agencies going door to door in our area.
Thank you!

ComEd Customers - Be Aware of Con Artists Impersonating ComEd Workers
With a more than 70 percent increase this year in cases involving con artists impersonating ComEd workers to obtain cash or personal information from customers, ComEd is warning customers to protect themselves.
ComEd officials report that impersonators use a number of tactics to snare their victims. In some cases, the scam artists wore plain clothes, and other times they wore some clothing similar to a utility worker such as a hard hat, a shirt with a ComEd logo, or a generic orange safety vest.
What customers should do...
- Always ask to see a company photo ID before allowing any utility worker into your home or business.
- Never pay on-site for “services.” ComEd employees never will ask for cash payments or personal banking information.
- Be skeptical of individuals wearing clothing with old or defaced ComEd logos. If you have any doubts, ask to see a company photo ID.
If you believe you are a victim of a scam, please report it your local police and call ComEd security at 800-550-6154.
